I started this store to share my love for antique vintage jewelry,making jewelry and art.
I come from a long line of creatives, I am also a designer artist and shopper of note
I started off in Fashion design and later turned my attention to Art and decorative art for private clients as well as the motion picture industry.
My love and fascination of antiques and vintage jewelry comes from my paternal grandmother (a collector and purveyor of antiquities) a beautiful elegant and humorous woman who had a great eye for the unusual and sublime, my sisters and I were always spoilt on our birthdays with a stunning piece of jewelry and an enchanting story of origin.
Given my bohemian soul and African Heritage I am especially attracted to all tribal jewelry the colorful beading, East Asian silver work, early 20th century Mexican Taxco, Native American and mid century modernist sterling silver jewelry .
There is just something so magical about jewelry from the late 19th and early 20th century
The stories they hold and the attention to detail and craftsmanship is unsurpassed in jewelry found today .
